An excellent sense of proportion is certainly one of my great strengths.
This gift is very difficult to learn, but makes working to scale much easier.
Producing faithfully reconstructed models, which I recreate from technical drawings with an accuracy of 1 millimeter, is a major challenge; it is more reminiscent of my training in ‘technical apparatus’ than artistic work and creative design.
It is precisely this mix of creative and technical glass work which makes my job so diverse and wonderfully varied.
